Hottest week of the year so far, so of course my AC isn’t working. After an insufferable night with no AC, I went to my local FB group for recommendations for quality businesses in my town. I called their number at 5:30am expecting to get a voicemail system. To my surprise, someone answered, politely took my info and promised a tech that day, with a follow up call shortly. A couple hours later I had a follow up call and a window of arrival shortly thereafter. Jim and Frankie arrived earlier than specified (which was totally fine), they were kind, engaging, and very up front about what the issue could be. They were at my home for about 30 minutes and fixed the problems without any major costs involved. The air was blowing cold, and I was grateful for their help. I appreciate this company, their staff, and integrity. Thanks Metro - you now have a loyal customer.

On a 95 degree day, Jim, after a desperate call, arrived at my house promptly and within an hour or so had my AC up and running. Excellent service. Jim was professional, respectful, and got the job done. I feel VERY comfortable recommending this company.

Edit in response to company reply:- My point is that knowing the condenser was dirty, the technician should have cleaned the condenser first before running any testing. The call was for a tune-up, and not for the system not working to require upfront diagnostic testing. Being a non expert, I knew that the condenser needed cleaned, so I’d expect an expert to know there is no point running diagnostic testing prior to cleaning.- I didn’t call to resolve the issue because I thought it was the owner who came out and didn’t see what good calling would do.- It might have been 3/4 hours instead of 1.5 hours, my point being that it was unnecessary work and billed differently than a standard tune-up, which it should have been.Thanks!Original Review:They use a bait and switch (give you a lower quote to get you to hire them, then charge you a higher price) system to scam people. Used them last year for AC tune up. When I called, they told me it would be a flat rate fee for AC tune up. Then when the owner came out to do the tuning, I told him as soon as he walked in the door that there was dirt in the condenser from being new construction that needs cleaned out (condenser cleaning is standard with AC tuneups). After he was done, he charged me a “hourly rate” instead of the flat rate, and made it seem like he was doing me a favor by not charging me a “diagnostic rate” because he had to diagnose why the numbers were higher which was due to the condenser being dirty. I told him that from the beginning so not sure what he had to diagnose. Wasted time doing that instead of doing the standard cleaning and ended up charging me for 1.5 hours. Ended up paying what the other companies were charging as a flat rate for tuneup. Do not recommend for the dishonesty.

Best repair/ installers in the business, had another company come out and check my AC, wanted a second opinion. Called Metro and Jim came out and set me straight and saved me tons of money. Do not go anywhere else but here, you will not be disappointed.
